An early forecast reveals that the beginning of 2011 will be marked with an influx of girl group debuts, but with the return of various male groups looming near, fans will get their full doses of testosterone in the near future as well.

Rookies including MBLAQTeen Top and Infinite have been generating lots of chatter and interest with their ongoing comebacks this month.

MBLAQ’s title track “Cry” was released just two days ago and has already secured high rankings on various charts including those of Mnet and Bugs. Their full album “BLAQ Style” will be released on the 10th with a live comeback on the 13th.

Teen Top, whose members got kpop fans doing double takes with their silver hair concept, released aMV teaser today for their comeback track ”Transform.” Due to member Niel’s injury, the group has pushed back their live comeback to the 13th.


After some intense hyping over the past couple of days, the 2010 ‘SBS Gayo Daejun‘ finally took place on the evening of December 29th at the Ilsan KINTEX.

The theme for this year’s Gayo Daejun was ‘Welcome to Music Factory‘.

It’s been announced that boy band TEEN TOP will have the opening performance for the “2010 SBS Gayo Daejun“.

The group is scheduled to perform a remix version of their debut title track, “Clap“, and they’re also preparing for a dance battle against ZE:A.

A representative from TEEN TOP’s agency, T.O.P Media, revealed: ”It’s a bit stressful to think that a rookie group was honored with the opening stage, but we will be showing an awesome performance to match with the show festival. Please also look forward to the blockbuster opening video that the group spent filming in the nights of late December.”

The boys of Teen Top may be considered newbies to the kpop scene, but they have surely been impressing netizens left and right with their charisma and impressive live performances on various music shows.

After performing an impressive cover of Justin Beiber’s One Less Lonely Girl, the boys are back to cover another song, Sunset Glow.  Though they sang to Big Bang’s version of the song, Teen Top gave the song their own flavor and put on quite a performance on KBS Cool FM radio. Check it out below!

Today, another weekly episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown, which features many performances from different artists and groups, was aired for the viewers to enjoy.

Besides the big comeback stage of Se7en (featuring T.O.P), legendary group DJDOC and also the special HOMME collaboration of Changmin (2AM) and Lee Hyun (8Eight), other artists put up great performances to showcase the power of K-pop.

Other artists who were present to perform today include; Taeyang, MBLAQ, Narsha, miss A, G.NA, Chae Yeon, K.Will, Teen Top, Black Pearl and Kim Yeo Hee.

If you noticed hard enough, some were sporting a tattoo that says “0826“. In case you are wondering, they are creating hype for MNET’s upcoming awards show, MNET 20’s Choice Awards.

Through the recent KBS Cool FM Narsha’s Raise the Volume, Teen Top’s L. Joe revealed his real name. A name that matches well with his handsome face.

L. Joe stated:

“I’m sorry, but my real name is Lee Byung Hun.”

Narsha then added:

“That’s a really unique name..I think you are truly going to live up to your name.”

Fans who have chimed in to hear this radio broadcast have commented:

“L. Joe is cool, and actor Lee Byung Hun is cool as well.”

“Just like actor Lee Byung Hun, I hope you will also become the Lee Byung Hyun who will be loved by many people.”
