The High 1 Seoul Music Awards were a little more special this year because it was the 20th anniversary.

All the artists who performed tonight did a great job keeping the atmosphere high, especially Supreme Team, Bobby Kim, and PSY who had everyone on their feet. 

Last year, SNSD took the Daesang home and they are eligible for the award once again. Will they be the third group to win the Seoul Music Award’s Daesang two years in a row?

Seo Taiji & Boys won the Daesang in 1992 and 1993, and H.O.T. won the Daesang in 1997 and 1998.

CNBLUE’s Japan concerts have all sold out! According to their agency, the group will be holding concerts at the ZEPP venues in Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. This is the second year that CNBLUE have sold out in all their concerts. Last year, the group had a concert tour, which sold out. 

This is a great achievement for the four men of CNBLUE and shows that they are certainly growing in popularity in Japan. CNBLUE made an unprecedented move in 2009 by debuting in Japan before Korea. This bold move did not stop them from being popular with fans when they debuted with their mini-album “Bluetory”.

After some intense hyping over the past couple of days, the 2010 ‘SBS Gayo Daejun‘ finally took place on the evening of December 29th at the Ilsan KINTEX.

The theme for this year’s Gayo Daejun was ‘Welcome to Music Factory‘.

Expectations for the 2010 ‘SBS Gayo Daejun’ were high among fans after special collaboration stages between artists were announced through the media, and if you had missed the live broadcast for some reason, or if you just want to see it all again, check out the videos below!


To commemorate Mnet M! Countdown’s 200th episode special, many special performances were held, and CNBLUE was one of the idol groups to participate.

The boys took on quite the amount of songs including Rain’s It’s Raining, 2NE1’s I Don’t Care, G-Dragon’s Heartbreaker, and Taeyang’s Look At Me and did a spectacular job performing each and every one of them!

CNBLUE always does a great job in adding some rock to popular songs, and with these performances, there is no exception! Check them all out below.

Semi-finals 16

I cheered with Ssi-beul (note: he often mentioned CNBLUE as Ssi-beul) before Argentina, but since we lost I wasn’t able to post it up ㅠㅠ
Since I’m cheering with Ssi-beul separately, I guess this is it haha
We have to get to the Final 16 Korea hwaiting; let’s all root for Korea together

Yesterday, CNBLUE leader Jung Yonghwa was able to free up some time in order to celebrate his birthday before their upcoming busy schedule with Japanese promotions.

The boys released their Japanese single entitled The Way which consists of four tracks:

Part 1 – One Time
Part 2 – Ready N’ Go
Part 3 – Eclipse
One Time Instrumental

The first two tracks shows off CNBLUE at their best with an up-beat rock n’ roll feel. The third track, Eclipse, is a ballad where Jonghyun in particular gets to show off his amazing vocals.

In addition, the release event for this single will be held twice and is as follows,

2010/6/23 (Wed) at Shinsaibashi CLUB QUATTRO
2010/6/26 (Sat) at Yokohama BLITZ
